Savannah Jade Dobbs is a professional dancer and artist based in New York City. She holds a BFA in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (2021). Her movement vocabulary and performance sensibilities draw from extensive training in Classical ballet, Countertechnique, Limón, The Merce Cunningham Trust, Trisha Brown, release techniques, contemporary forms, and various somatic modalities. As a freelance dancer, Savannah actively collaborates on diverse projects throughout the city. She continues her development through workshops at institutions such as the American Dance Festival and Bates Dance Festival. Beyond performance, Savannah is a certified Pilates instructor, applying her movement expertise to support the well-being of others.
